Half-Day Private Guiding

Pricing may increase for extended travel or custom session requests. Travel beyond 30 minutes from my location may include a mileage fee, discussed during planning.

The topics of the sessions are tailored to your goals and interests. We willl discuss your goals and learning objectives during the planning stages to make the sessions effective for your needs.
Topics can include but are not limited to, camera settings, shooting techniques, habitat lessons, species specific sessions, and more.

Half day sessions go from either sunrise to midday or midday to sunset. Depending on the season this can be anywhere from 4 hours to a max of 6 hours.

Full days range from dawn to dusk with a break midday for lunch. In these sessions the day is yours and we can spend it as you desire to meet your goals and interests. Depending on the season, this can be 8-10 hours.

Transportation can be included for an additional fee to cover mileage. This can be discussed in the planning stages of the session.

There will be an added travel fee for any locations greater than a half hour away from my location. This fee is typically small and will be discussed during the location planning phase so there are no surprises.

While there is no minimum required gear, it is beneficial to have a lens that is at least 300mm. The type and brand of camera does not matter. I will go over gear with you on the initial phone call so I can learn how you can best use the gear that you have available.
