It’s no secret our pets are part of our family. Whether they have fur or feathers, it will be my pleasure to help you capture their personality!
-
Step 1: Initial Consultation
It all begins with the initial consultation. Here you tell me a little about your pet and your overall vision. We will work together to find the perfect location and time to complete the session.
-
Step 2: Professional Photo Session
I will work with your pet to allow them to get comfortable with my presence and the camera. I will then work to take a variety of photos capturing your pet’s character. This typically involves me rolling around and playing with your pet!
-
Step 3: Photo Review and Ordering
This is the really exciting part! After about 2-3 weeks from the photo session, I will have your images professionally edited and ready for you to look over. I will help you choose the best images to match you and your pet’s style and will work best for your home.
-
Step 4: Image Delivery
Once your selected images are chosen, I will order and have each item carefully delivered to your door. There they can be displayed for you to cherish for years to come.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
During our initial consultation, we will decide where would be best to capture your vision. Most sessions are taken outdoors at a local park or in your home or yard for more shy pets.
-
Be sure to bring any toys or treats that your pet especially enjoys. Also, bring any props or clothes you would like for your photos. I will also bring treats and toys to entertain your pet as well. For dogs, if you have a longer lead that may be helpful as well. If you don’t have one, don’t worry I will bring one!
-
A lot of fun and entertainment! We will work to make sure your pet is having a good time to capture the character and emotion of your pet. The sessions will either be 30 minutes or 2 hours depending on which option you choose. No matter your option, I will create a variety of photos that capture your vision and style.
-
Your pet’s safety is my number one priority. I will never ask you to take your pet off-leash for a photo unless you are absolutely comfortable. Also, many parks require dogs to be on a leash at all times. In most instances, the leash and collar can be removed during the editing process.
-
Animals have their personalities too. I begin each session by letting your pet get familiar with me to make the session go as smoothly as possible. Bringing your pet’s favorite toy or treat usually helps and I have a few tricks as well to get their attention!
-
Life happens, I get that. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please contact me at least a day prior to your scheduled appointment.
-
I am happy to continue the session in the event of light rain and snow. In fact, these often create dramatic effects in images. If the weather is severe, or you would like to reschedule, I will be happy to ensure you have the conditions to make your dream images a reality.
-
Yes! All the seasons in New England allow for different dramatic feels and I do outdoor sessions all year long! The seasons also allow for multiple sessions to be booked for different times of the year to show the progression as your pet grows up.
-
I work to edit your images as quickly as I can to make the turnaround time as small as possible. I usually complete the editing of your photos in 2-3 weeks and will contact you as soon as they are ready!
-
Digital prints are provided for all the images that are purchased in the review and ordering appointment. For all purchased images, I will also provide jpeg images for you to share on your social media to show off to all your friends! High-resolution files will also be available for purchase during the ordering appointment.
